Field Service Technician, Experienced

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Field Service Technician based in Jacksonville, FL. This position will be responsible for the installation and service of a variety of doors and related materials, equipment, and control devices.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $30/hr - $40/hr plus mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). $3,000 Sign-on Bonus (details provided during interview)

• Carry out corrective service and preventative maintenance on a range of equipment in a professional and customer-oriented manner
• Install dormakaba equipment in commercial buildings
• Service equipment to the customers’ ongoing satisfaction
• Project a customer service image through competent service procedures, professional personal presentation, and communication with all customers
• Maintain accurate service data through diligent and timely use of all service documentation and technical data

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• Valid current driver’s license
• Mechanical knowledge
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues

• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds; 35 pounds over the shoulder. Frequent standing, stooping, crawling, twisting, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing and working overhead
• Ability to use power and manual tools.
• Ability to safely operate an assigned company vehicle.

WHAT WE PREFER

• Electrical license or knowledge of basic electronics and electrical theory, principles of microprocessor-controlled equipment and multi-meter instruments
• AAADM certification
