As an Accounts Payable Officer, your responsibilities include performing administrative tasks to support the finance team and enhancing efficiencies to meet the requirements of both internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include:
- New account set up, including conducting trade reference checks and processing credit application requests.
- Customer master maintenance
- Processing invoices and credit notes
- Responding to all enquires received via email, phone or mail in a timely manner
- Implement procedures to ensure the timely execution of administration procedures
- Conduct business in line with applicable laws and regulations as well as with local policies and procedures and the company code of conduct
- Assist in administration of business
- Investigate and implement lean procedures within admin in a given time frame.
- Creditor reconciliations
- Assist in updating credit claim register
- Prepare and reconcile settlement discount and customer rebates
YOUR SKILLS
- ERP skills (preferably ironbark experience)
- Completed or working towards an Accounting qualification and/or evidence of experience working in the accounts payable/receivable area
- Strong English language skills
- Being able to prioritise and manage time effectively
- Exceptional customer service and problem solving skills
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
