As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll manage quality assurance, product specifications, machinery safety, bring new designs to life, and drive productivity initiatives with senior management.
- Be prepared to hold a diverse role within a very functional engineering team
- Manage and oversee multiple job tasks and projects
- Design and deliver set projects, from conception to handover.
- Assist in a developing safety system and new file structure
- Establishing productive working relationships with engineering, maintenance and operations teams to improve manufacturing performance
- Identifying risk mitigation actions and risks.
- Provide a high standard of customer service and company representation.
- Undertake tasks, other than those specifically listed, delegated by the preproduction and Technical Development Engineer or Senior management team.
- Assist with the induction and training of new employees
- Product nonconformity analysis including; raising, evaluating quality and providing judgment and resolution.
YOUR SKILLS
- Previous demonstrated experience with internal project management, continuous improvement, and production process optimization
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SolidWorks 3D Modelling & AutoCAD
