Position Overview
We are looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join our ANZ Finance team and partner with business leaders across SA, NT and WA.
This is a true business partnering role where you’ll work closely with State and National leaders to understand what’s driving performance, challenge thinking and turn financial insights into commercial action. From forecasting and profitability through to pricing and business planning, you’ll play an important role in influencing decisions and driving organisational advancement.
What you will do
- Build trusted relationships with State and National leaders, providing commercial insight and financial support to drive performance
- Analyse key business and profit drivers including sales, margin, price, volume and mix, identifying opportunities and areas for action
- Lead monthly reporting, rolling forecasts and annual budgeting across your portfolio, which includes principle domestic manufacturing entities Gliderol & EziRoll.
- Partner with the business on pricing initiatives, customer rebates and product and customer profitability
- Play an active role in S&OP and demand planning, helping improve the accuracy of business and financial planning
- Work with stakeholders to turn financial results and insights into clear actions
- Contribute to broader ANZ and global Finance transformation and improvement initiatives
- Travel interstate as required to build strong relationships with the teams you support
What we require
- 5+ years’ experience in Finance, with strong commercial finance or business partnering experience
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- Strong financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting capability
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand the drivers behind business performance
- Confidence partnering with and influencing stakeholders outside of Finance
- Ability to translate financial information into clear, practical insights and recommendations
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Ability to travel interstate when required
What we prefer
- CA, CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification
- Experience partnering with Sales, Commercial or Operational leaders
- Ownership of P&L’s across multi-site manufacturing operations
- Exposure to pricing, profitability, and/or S&OP within a commercial environment
