Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Pinkenba manufacturing site, overseeing production, warehouse and dispatch operations across our Gliderol and Eziroll product lines.

Gliderol and Eziroll are well-established names in the Australian market, manufacturing garage door solutions for residential and commercial customers nationwide. As part of dormakaba, these brands form a critical part of our local manufacturing footprint.

Reporting to the Deputy Vice President – Operations Pacific, this role is responsible for driving performance across safety, quality, cost and delivery (DIFOT), while building a strong team culture and ensuring operational excellence across multiple production lines.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong floor presence, accountability and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end site operations across production, warehouse and dispatch
• Drive performance across DIFOT, safety, quality and cost
• Implement production schedules, process improvements and maintenance strategies
• Build and lead a high-performing team, including performance management
• Partner with supply chain to optimise inventory and working capital
• Drive continuous improvement across efficiency, capacity and cost reduction
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a strong safety culture
• Work closely with Sales and Customer Service to deliver customer outcomes

What we require

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in manufacturing and/or supply chain
• Proven experience leading a manufacturing or operations function
• Strong hands-on leadership style with floor engagement
• Demonstrated ability to improve operational performance and KPIs
• Experience across production, warehouse and logistics
