Position Overview

Gliderol Garage Doors, part of the global dormakaba Group, is seeking an experienced and commercially driven State Sales Manager to lead our Queensland sales operations.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will play a key leadership role in growing market share, strengthening customer relationships, and driving profitable revenue growth across the state. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity where you will work closely with customers, production, customer service, and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional service and business outcomes.

What you will do

  • Lead, coach and support a team to achieve sales and revenue targets
  • Develop and execute state-based sales strategies to grow market share
  • Build strong relationships with existing and new customers across Queensland
  • Manage branch performance, forecasting, pricing and P&L responsibilities
  • Collaborate with operations and production teams to ensure seamless customer delivery
  • Support customers with product solutions, warranty claims and technical recommendations
  • Drive a strong customer experience culture across the business
  • Provide sales reporting, market insights and growth opportunities to leadership

 

What we require

  • Proven experience in a Sales Manager or State Sales leadership role
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and sales targets
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop teams
  • Excellent relationship building and customer engagement skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, finance and customer service teams
  • Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving capability

 

What we prefer

  • Experience within the garage door, building products or manufacturing industry
  • Experience managing regional or state-based sales operations
  • Background in sales, business or marketing disciplines
