Kaba Ilco Corporation, located in Rocky Mount, NC, has an immediate need for a Customer Service Representative.  Performs all routine functions to assure customer satisfaction, including but not limited to informing customers of receipt, prices, order entry, customer resolutions, shipping dates, and delays; preparing contracts; and handling complaints.

 

THIS OPENS THE DOOR TO YOUR FUTURE: YOUR TASKS

  • Receives and processes incoming orders for materials and merchandise and proofreads all orders before distribution to minimize possible error.
  • Obtains customers' names, addresses, and billing information, product numbers, and specifications of items to be purchased, and enter this information on order forms
  • Communicates with inside sales team and outside sales representatives on product issues relating to production and availability
  • Confers with production and planning personnel daily to obtain estimate of cost, production time and shipments
  • Informs customers by mail or telephone of order information, such as unit prices, inventory levels, shipping dates, and any anticipated delays
  • Respond to and resolve customer complaints by taking all necessary steps
  • Verifies customer and order information for correctness, checking it against previously obtained information as necessary
  • Compiles, sorts and verifies the accuracy of data before it is entered
  • Compares data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors
  • Stores completed documents in appropriate locations
  • Locates and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors
  • Trains other teammates as required by supervision
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition in accordance with 5S protocol and follows prescribed standard procedures and safety regulations
  • Reports to work regularly and punctually as working schedule required
  • Performs related duties as assigned by supervision

 

WE PUT TRUST IN YOU: YOUR SKILLS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate degree or higher preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of customer service experience preferred
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Knowledge of raw materials, key manufacturing processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records and other office procedures and terminology.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Able to work independently and with other teammates in the organization to achieve goal
  • Able to identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • Skilled in oral and written communication, judgment and decision making, organization and coordination
  • High level computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook (Teams)
