Web Communication Specialist

We have an immediate need for a talented Web Communications Specialist. The Web Communications Specialist will create, design and implement digital and web related marketing / sales support/collateral materials in print and/or digital as directed. Working with members of the marketing team to ensure continuity in the company’s marketing message.

Web Site & E-Commerce

• Develop content, manage and monitor ecommerce site
• Execute the steps necessary to maintain the accuracy and optimization of web sites
• Work cross functionally on maintenance and management
• Assist in development of e-commerce promotions and manages this content within set schedules
• Assist in development of web site pages related to e-learning
• Must work independently and within a collaborative environment to ensure integration into the overall marketing communications strategies.
• Manage and maintin ftp site in conjunction with IT

Social Media

• Working knowledge and real-world experience in planning, managing and executing social media initiatives
• Writing, editing, crafting and managing content for the web, electronic communications and social media across owned and earned social channels.
• Leverages measurement tools to mine insights, while continually finding ways to improve on those metrics
• Monitors external sites for relevant discussion

Digital Design & Communications

• Assist in development and management of digital communications media for internal, external and customer communications. Collaborate in organizing content in a manner that provides proper flow through multiple channels
• Manage and maintain contact database for electronic communications.
• Develops and works with various digital media pertinent to the overall communications strategy.
• Creation of external newsletters for a variety of markets designed to take full advantage of web, digital and social media space

 General Design

• Cross functional support all areas of marketing is a very large plus. Knowledge/understanding of offset printing process, and preparing print files as required.
• Ability to communicate,  coordinate and execute projects with outside vendors
• Present concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Embodies a consistent visual brand representation within design.
• Design in alignment to evolving brand standards with emphasis on brand consistency
• Consistently meet project deadlines and maintain a high level of work while managing multiple projects

Required Qualifications Include

• Associates Degree computer-related field, graphic arts or equivalent training in internet and digital marketing; BS a plus
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience
• Expertise with CMS site administration, social media platforms, web optimization and analytics
• Basic HTML knowledge
• Proficient in MS Office
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite software
• Strong writing, verbal communication and problem solving skills related to digital communications
• Strong organizational and time management skills and the flexibility to accomodate shifting priorities in a fast paced and highly demanding environment
• Technically solid, able to visualize design across a variety of media
• Experience with the headless CMS, Storyblok is preferred.
• Experience working on Constant Contact, creating email blasts and landing pages.
