In this role you will be required to work within the extrusion team operating machinery to produce high quality silicone gaskets, PVC extrusion/co-extrusion. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment for a division of one of Australia's leading access & security solutions companies.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Trained to operate all key extrusion and mixing machinery competently.
- Trouble shoot and problem solve on the go, minimising waste.
- Attention to detail – measuring and checking tolerances of made product to technical drawings.
- Provide support as required to the Extrusion Manager.
- Other special project/activities as required.
YOUR SKILLS
- Very high attention to detail.
- Ideally has previous experience in extrusion or in a polymer manufacturing role.
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to follow run condition sheets.
- Ability to follow work instructions and document clearly work performed.
- Good trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to adapt and change when required.
