Team Leader Despatch

Kilargo, part of the dormakaba group of companies, is the leading fire, acoustic and seal manufacturer in Australia and is based in Banyo, Brisbane. 

We are currently seeking a full-time Despatch Team Leader to join our team at Kilargo. This is a full-time position with 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8am to 4.30pm. 

There is no weekend work required, but you may be asked to work extra paid overtime during busy periods.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating staff in Packing and Despatch area of Warehouse.
• Reports on any stock discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve stock/delivery discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve incorrect and/or no-supply issues.
• Oversee international dispatching.
• Prioritize customer orders to meet delivery deadlines and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Supervise the folding and packing of orders, ensuring they are prepared for despatch securely and appropriately.
• Daily consultation with all Team Leaders and Customer Service, with workloads adjusted to suit business needs.
• Sets KPIs for team members and evaluates individual performances, and involves for hiring matters related to the team.

• Previous experience within a supervisory role in a warehouse environment
• Ability to manage teams in a fast paced environment
• Good computer knowledge
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Have a strong work ethic
• SAP knowledge
