POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a talented and motivated Software Implementation Specialist to join our Professional Services team, delivering projects to meet our customer’s specific business goals and needs. This position will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment managing multiple concurrent projects and work closely with clients and our developmental team to achieve client goals. Activities include overseeing and tracking all stages of the implementation phase, working with client project resources to identify, gather and document business requirements, directing workflow analysis and system design, provide data mapping requirements, perform data analysis, configurations, training users and developing customer specific documentation.

"Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary/hourly range for Colorado residents is $60,000 to $80,000. The salary/hourly range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $60,000 to $80,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, the Company offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements)."

 

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Build trusted relationships with new and existing clients and ensuring client provides date with functional and technical requirements to support
  • Acting as the project lead to the customer, build, develop and grow strong internal and external business relationships to bring success of the project.
  • Manage and implement a series of projects of varying size and scope; collaborate with customer to establish implementation goals and schedule, within budget and with high customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively manage changes in scope, identify potential roadblocks, create contingency plans and manages change orders.
  • Be a subject matter expert providing best practices to the customer for their implementation.
  • Develop and deliver project specific plans, supporting documentation, progress reports, requirements documentation and presentations.
  • Executes on delivery and implementation plans, tests and troubleshoots final system setups.
  • Provides training and end-user support during the implementation process.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience with customer facing technical/support/consulting services.
  • Knowledge of time collection and ERP (resource planning) software implementation and support processes.
  • Ability to define, document and review project requirements and use cases.
  • Ability to function with limited supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal, documentation and verbal skills.
  • General knowledge of SQL database and network connectivity.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS or other related field.
  • Ability to travel
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Intimate knowledge of b-comm software and dormakaba time clock hardware/terminal client preferred
  • 1-3 Years prior experience as a software application consultant preferred
