Purpose of the function


Act as the single point of contact into IT for the business in the respective area of the Segment. Understand business requirements, qualify demands incl. business benefit analysis, represent the global IT’s solution portfolio, monitor and ensure compliance, establish close communication to business stakeholders on all aspects of IT, e.g. service delivery quality, project status, financials, monthly forecasting etc. Help the business with adopting new solutions in the digital transformation journey. Acts as the “Voice of the customer” in Group IT for the respective area.



Key Tasks & specific challenges


  • Develop and manage relations with key stakeholders of the business at multiple levels in the organization
  • Establish stakeholder network and ensure regular communication and collaboration between business and IT. 
  • Monitor performance on Service Delivery to ensure the services delivered by Group IT are conform to what has been agreed (Service SLA and Project definition).
  • Communication of service & project delivery status to key business stakeholders.
  • Communicate and discuss monthly performance metrics and KPI dashboards
  • Interact with organization’s personnel related to business raised issues and cross-aligns it.
  • Collaborate with Group IT Solutions architects and Service Delivery with the “eyes of the customer”
  • Contribute to the project IT masterplan for the Segment as part of the global portfolio plan.
  • Act as the escalation point when issues arise; support Major Incident process (facilitating, communication)
  • Reporting internally to segment Business IT Engagement Manager on project and service performance of Group IT (services delivery, progress, economics, etc.)
  • Ensure regular review and service level definition, consolidating local user requirements to a segment level. Closely collaborate with Group IT Service Owners. Identify and develop new services and service concepts
  • Drive the IT demand management process, together with business functions ensure demands are fully qualified
  • Support the global service & product portfolio process, representing segment priorities and aligning decision making.









  • Bachelor's in business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Management capability
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders
  • 5 or more years successfully improving IT effectiveness within the Manufacturing or Electronics and Electrical Equipment industries.
  • Knowledge of IT Management practices (e.g. IT project management)
  • Experience in SAP preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, in both English and French, including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms, establish rapport and persuade others.
