Installation Coordinator

dormakaba is seeking an Installation Coordinator to join our Service team in Chino, CA! This position is responsible for delivering all projects within their region on time and in budget by working with installation managers, the sourcing team, sub-contractors, the sales team, and any other relevant parties.




  • Manages multiple (both large and small) projects while coordinating work through appropriate vendors, sub-contractors and branch staff
  • Establishes project plans by determining time frame, funding and staffing, and approving project schedules
  • Attends (physically or virtually) pre-construction and post-construction jobsite meetings
  • Provides project management and coordination assistance for National Accounts, as required
  • Ensures customer training is completed
  • Provides product and warranty package to end-user upon completion or commissioning
  • Provides strategic, expert advice and consultation on the design and implementation of effective administrative and project processes



  • PMP certificate preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of project management experience preferred
  • 5-7 years’ work experience in project management without education

  • Ability to set priorities and work in a highly measured environment
  • Knowledge of electronics required, specifically in access control, entrance systems, or Integration preferred
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Good financial acumen
  • Skills or experience with personal computers, including electronic E-mail, personal scheduling, word processing and electronic spreadsheet skills (MS Office), MS Project
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems
  • A valid state driver’s license, without restrictions, is required for this position
