POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Quality Control team. This position is responsible for promoting efforts towards continual quality improvement achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization. Developing, implementing, communicating, and maintaining a quality plan effort, which focus on a company-wide Quality Management System and Policies

 

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Effectively interacting with engineering and purchasing to maintain quality of product supply through the establishment of quality requirements for external suppliers.
  • Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, performed, and evaluated.
  • Supervising technical staff in carrying out tests, checks, inspections, and validations.
  • Writing technical and management systems reports.
  • Managing and maintaining the company’s quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials, components, processes, and finished goods.
  • Formulating and managing the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and systems pertaining to QA/QC.
  • Defining quality procedures, quality checks and quality validation
  • Identifying relevant quality-related training needs and delivering training.
  • Organizing and analyzing performance data (KPI’s) and charts against historical data to ensure continuous improvement trending.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an applied science or engineering field.
  • 5 years prior experience in Quality Assurance.
  • 3 years managerial experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in quality management systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
