**This position is remote with responsibility for: Philadelphia, PA, South Jersey and Delaware**

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a customer centric Sales Representative to join our expansive national Sales team. This role will be responsible for supporting new business development in their region while developing new customer relationships, managing inbound orders orders requests, etc. This role blends business development, lead cultivation, account management, project estimating, and other factors of the Sales process to successfully drive revenue gains.

 

Important:  Our sales and service team members are required to make in-person customer visits due to the nature of their work.  For our protection and the protection of our customers, we adhere to strict COVID safety protocols (masking, frequent hand sanitizer use, temperature checks, etc. per local guidelines and customer requirements).

 

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Drives profitable sales growth through new business development efforts while developing positive relationships with customer and within the organization
  • Finds and develops new project sales opportunities through data mining, incoming emails and customer calls to end users, glaziers, general contractors, and architects
  • Consultatively determines and recommends the proper products for customers’ applications and requirements within the role of a strategic product specialist and trusted advisor
  • Works with Inside Sales Representative to Identify strategic opportunities and establish sales tactics to penetrate and develop specific clients in assigned regions and markets
  • Solidifies reputation as a trusted advisor deploying consultative approach to generating new business
  • Identifies strategic opportunities and establish sales tactics to penetrate and develop specific clients in assigned regions and markets
  • Reviews competitive market landscape and recommend, develop, and implement new and creative tactics to maximize sales opportunities and revenue
  • Performs effectively within a cross-functional team that is comprised of both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensures contractual commitments are met during the term of customer agreements
  • Completes timely reporting including opportunities updates, sales forecasts, call reports, in Salesforce.com (SFDC)
  • Represents and exemplifies dormakaba’s core values and business principles

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • B.S. in Sales, Business, Marketing, or similar field preferred
  • Preferred 2 years of inside or outside sales or account management experience
  • Preferred experience in the architectural building materials or construction industry
  • Preferred technical knowledge of automatic doors or other entrance system products
  • Salesforce.com experience preferred but not required
  • Must be able to travel 50%+.
