Field Sales/End User Consultant - Remote

**This is a remote position**




Dormakaba is seeking a Field Sales/End User Consultant to represent our company and our products in the Southeast region of the US. This role will generate sales opportunities by promoting dormakaba products to both existing and prospective clients. This individual will work to uphold and uplift dormakaba’s reputation as a leader in door hardware.


Specific responsibilities include: 

  • Develops end-user opportunities by marketing company product lines and offering value-added services to prospective end-users
  • Maintains relationships with established end-user accounts
  • Gains understanding of new and current end-user needs by following a consultative selling approach
  • Implements tactical programs, such as, but not limited to, “try-me” programs, etc., to influence end-users to switch from a competitive brand
  • Maintains close communication and coordination with the DDM to ensure we are meeting end-user needs
  • Provides end-users with on-site survey consultations, develops professional presentation skills, and provides system recommendations
  • Markets/sells the entire door hardware “package”
  • Develops ability to make competitive comparison presentations to end-users
  • Assures completeness of all Account and Opportunity records and tracks all work in Salesforce.com
  • Works closely with teammates to achieve the monthly, quarterly, and annual goals in place for your region or assigned territory




  • Works under general supervision and relies on general knowledge and sales experience to achieve goals and deliver sales plans
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Knowledge of hardware products and electronic sales, or desire to be trained extensively on these subjects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to make group presentations
  • Ability to work with personal computers, including electronic E-mail, personal scheduling, word processing and electronic spreadsheets
  • Willingness to travel 50% +




  • 2 - 4+ years of sales experience



  • Experience with Salesforce
  • B.S. in Sales, Business, Marketing or similar field
