Position Overview
Ensure the development, standardization, and continuous improvement of Purchase-to-Pay processes across the organization to drive operational efficiency. Lead initiatives for process digitization and automation, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance speed, reduce costs, and improve data accuracy. Establish a robust governance framework and enforce compliance with internal policies and external regulations, ensuring transparency and quality throughout the P2P cycle.
What you will do
- Global Standardization
- Develop and maintain standardized P2P processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Challenge: Balancing local variations with global requirements without compromising efficiency.
- Process Automation & Digitization
- Drive technology initiatives (e.g., eInvoicing, automated matching, workflow tools) to streamline and optimize the P2P cycle.
- Challenge: Find process automation solutions that can be implemented at the varying technological maturities level within the organisation.
- Systems & Tools Enhancement
- Collaborate with IT and Finance to design and implement enhancements or new tools for P2P.
- Challenge: Managing complex organizational structures and securing resources for change initiatives.
- Best Practices & Innovation
- Introduce and monitor best practices (e.g., robotics, AI, advanced analytics) to continually improve the P2P process.
- Challenge: Measuring ROI and overcoming resistance to new methods.
- Data Analysis & KPIs
- Conduct ongoing monitoring on process performance and report on key metrics (e.g. maverick buying rate, purchase requisition to purchase order rate, etc.)
- Challenge: improve data quality and the accuracy, so that more KPIs can be calculated across the global organization.
- Training & Change Management
- Develop comprehensive training materials and conduct workshops to build expertise among P2P stakeholders.
- Challenge: Addressing diverse skill levels and cultural differences across global teams.
- Governance & Compliance
- Enforce adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements throughout the P2P cycle.
- Challenge: Keeping up-to-date with evolving regulatory landscapes and ensuring global alignment.
- Stakeholder & Supplier Collaboration
- Work closely with internal departments and external partners to resolve issues, optimize processes, and foster long-term relationships.
- Challenge: Balancing competing priorities and managing expectations among multiple stakeholders
What we require
- Work experience – at least 5 years
- Required expertise in implementation and execution of SAP ERP and SAP Ariba
- Completed university degree such as bachelor’s or master's degree in Procurement Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering/Management, Purchasing, Logistics, Information Technology or related field or alternatively achieved
