We are now looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team. This role is based in Hitchin, and offers the opportunity to work remotely, for up to 2 days per week.

 

THIS OPENS THE DOOR TO YOUR FUTURE: YOUR TASKS

 

As an Accounts Assistant you must be flexible in your approach, assisting and supporting the Finance Team to achieve their expected outcomes with efficiency and accuracy.

 

Day to tasks can include:

  • Daily bank reconciliations and cash pool reconciliations.

  • Intercompany recharges, reconciliation, and payments.

  • Completion of VAT / CIS and PSA returns in both UK and Ireland.

  • Monitoring and reporting on customer queries.

  • The role also includes responsibilities for month end reporting.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is AAT qualified, or studying!

 

WE PUT TRUST IN YOU: YOUR SKILLS

 

As an Accounts Assistant, we are looking for a candidate who has previous experience of both accounts receivable and payable function,

 

In addition, you must have knowledge of accounting principles and practices as well as:

  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience of Microsoft Office, and a large ERP system. SAP is desirable.

  • Intermediate / Advanced Excel skills.

  • Proven examples of prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines.
