Employee Engagement - HR Business Partner

We are looking for a highly motivated person to join our HR team, who is keen to play an important part in driving the employee engagement & talent retention agenda within dormakaba UK.

 

You will be expected to champion the development and implementation of employee engagement, to support talent retention and position our organisation as an 'employer of choice' within our sector.

 

You will work collaboratively across teams, spotting opportunities for improvements and supporting colleagues to adopt approaches to embedding employee engagement, talent retention, and wellbeing.

 

We are seeking someone comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, who can show flexibility in adapting to priorities as they arise. 

 

THIS OPENS THE DOOR TO YOUR FUTURE: YOUR TASKS

 

  • To be a key influencer across the organisation on the importance of engagement and effective leadership.

  • Introduction of the organisation‘s culture programme and the development of engaging leadership capability in the organisation. This includes introduction and embedding of a coaching culture and the support the delivery of change management projects.

  • Coordinate the organisation’s employee engagement measurement systems including surveys and ensure they deliver continuous improvement activity both at UK and site level.

  • Input into improving diversity and inclusion with the business as well as the wellbeing of all our staff.

  • Work in partnership with key stakeholders to ensure a seamless approach to talent management, building a sound understanding of talent challenges and sharing best practice. Building an in-depth knowledge of the Company’s talent pipelines and developing innovative approaches to enable colleagues to maximise their potential.

  • Implementation of our performance management system and processes to drive a high-performance culture - including performance review process, talent management and succession planning.

  • Support the management of talent interventions and tools as well as managing participation in organisational talent and development programmes such as Leading leaders, Sales Excellence.

 

WE PUT TRUST IN YOU: YOUR SKILLS

 

  • Experience of implementing successful employee engagement, talent management and organisational change initiatives, utilising a project management approach.

  • A strong delivery focus underpinned by solid organisational skills to drive forward our people agenda.

  • Knowledge of change management strategies, processes, and interventions, including cultural change.

  • Flexible approach to working hours, able to travel and stay overnight on occasions

  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent Organisational Development (OD) qualification.

  • Ideally 3 years’ experience in Employee Engagement or in an HR role driving organisational or cultural change.
