POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Regional Sales Representative (RSR) to join our team! This position is responsible for improving dormakaba Americas profitability by generating new prospects and closing sales. This comes in the form of new sales generation while nurturing existing customer relationships. The RSR will have a primary sales territory for which they are responsible for all aspects of product selling. The task of the RSR is to grow existing markets and open new markets that will increase the revenues and income of dormakaba Americas. This involves having a good grasp of the industry trends, which will become the basis for strategic planning and forecasting.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $90,000 - $110,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)This position includes a competitive benefits package.  Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Works on all sales quotations within the assigned multistate Region in accordance with guidelines as provided by dormakaba National Sales Manager
  • Responsible for all aspects of sales related expenses within the Region 
  • Provides direction, fosters growth and development of the dormakaba product clusters Rep within the Region
  • Maintains all aspects of account relationships with established dormakaba Multihousing distributors, dealers, and reseller’s  
  • Identifies opportunities and collaborates with potential organizations to develop and drive end user sales
  • Participates in the development of sales and marketing strategies that further enhance the sales of dormakaba Americas Multihousing products to end user customers
  • Manages all client opportunities through detailed Salesforce reporting and updating
  • Provides monthly rolling forecast and report of key business actively to dormakaba MH National Sales Manager
  • Meets or exceeds territory sales budget as established by dormakaba MH National Sales Manager
  • Evaluates each end user client’s business and property environment to determine the most effective strategy to sale
  • Ensures appropriate impact to client’s business operations and high client satisfaction with the implementation
  • Participates in leadership, strategic planning, and business development team meetings as necessary

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor´s degree in Business Administration preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years proven field sales experience
