dormakaba is seeking a customer focused Service Installation Manager to support the company’s vision of becoming the leading provider of Premium Access Solutions in the America. This position is responsible for coordinating the completion of BEST door hardware jobs from start to finish, including working with Sales to provide accurate quotes, planning and deploying the resources needed to complete the order, and ensuring associated administrative tasks are complete. The ideal candidate will lead and develop a team of Service Technicians specializing in the installation of door hardware. 



  • Maintains a high level of familiarity with all product lines, enabling efficient and effective delivery of technical and application support to our internal and external customers
  • Maintains regular communication with technicians to understand job progress and provide coaching and direction for facilitation of job completions
  • Provides constructive feedback, goal setting, and objectives to assist technicians with professional development
  • Plans order assignments and travel for technicians to obtain maximum productivity and cost efficiency
  • Assigns open orders to technicians taking into account their specialties and capabilities, customer commitments, and timing
  • Ensures Company policies are followed, and address performance and behavioral concerns
  • Performs administrative supervisory duties such as approval of timecards and PTO requests, review expenses
  • Review and verify POs for accuracy, order materials for jobs to ensure they are delivered in a timely manner
  • Troubleshoot and correct complications that arise in the course of planning and completing an order
  • Complete Certified Payroll requests and Prevailing Wage Sheets as necessary
  • Ensure all aspects of invoicing the customer are completed for each job in a timely manner
  • Coordinates the gathering of information from the field to complete quotes.  Approve quotes before they are submitted to distributors
  • Communicates with dormakaba employees who are prospecting and working on jobs to ensure familiarity with each job from start to finish
  • Works closely with customer service, inside and outside sales as the primary response layer for questions and issues from customers as well as the accuarcy of estimates




  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field, or relevant experience
  • Strong oral and written business communication skills
  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Must have the ability to reach with hands and arms
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience required
  • PMP Certification preferred
