POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to assist our Finance team based in Indianapolis, IN. This role will be a key contributor to the Finance team, partnering with functional leaders and field personnel to provide meaningful Accounts Receivable analysis, will take important role in the intercompany recharge process, drive productivity and deliver stated financial objectives.

 

  PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Provides detailed recurring of e.g. Sales, GM, EBITDA (forecast & actual) and initiatives including ROI modeling and meaningful variance explanations
  • Manages and monitors projects, progress, spending, and savings to ensure results are delivered on time and within budget
  • Prepares reporting, oversees operations analysis, and completes any ad hoc analysis required by Director of FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis)
  • Manages head count and associated costs for the business unit and ensure that changes follow the proper delegation of authority process
  • Establishes operating routines with partners including standard reporting, metrics, and rhythms. Actively pulses business partners to monitor progress to monthly objectives
  • Leads annual budget and planning processes for functional teams. Partner with operating leaders to develop realistic financial plans aligned to operational goals
  • Participates in process improvements projects to gain efficiencies in reporting and performance analysis cycles
  • Provides financial support for new initiatives and ad hoc data requests
  • Participates in and leads strategic projects aligned to our business and finance goals driving continuous improvement
  • Contributes to Corporate mid-year and year end Region write up

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • BS in Finance, Accounting, or similar analytical discipline
  • Advanced degree and/or financial leadership program graduate preferred
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience; manufacturing experience preferred
  • Cost accounting experience
  • Demonstrated business partnering
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and deliver results
  • Basic understanding of commodity hedging and analytical skills of markets and economic environment
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles
  • Ability to apply sound business judgment and analytical skills, advanced presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with self-confidence (Executive Management)
  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, hands-on experience in regular transactions of HFM and SAP (and/or similar ERP system)
  • Working knowledge within Business Intelligence (BI) reporting
  • Knowledge of capital investment activities and return on investment capabilities
  • Experience in multinational environment
