POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking an experienced Senior Inside Sales Representative to join our Sales team. This position will be responsible for supporting existing accounts and executing growth strategies. This position is responsible for sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails. 

 

**This position can be based anywhere in the U.S. and qualifies for a $1,000.00 sign on bonus!**  

 

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Trains, grows, and mentors Account representatives on the team
  • Assists in the creation of a new Account Selling Model
  • Creates standard operating procedures to be used across the business
  •  Drives profitable sales growth through new business development efforts as well as increasing “share of the wallet” with existing clients.
  • Solidifies reputation as a trusted advisor deploying consultative approach to generating new business.
  • Identifies strategic opportunities and establish sales tactics to penetrate and develop specific clients in assigned regions and markets.
  • Continuously reviews competitive market landscape and recommend, develop, and implement new and creative tactics to maximize sales opportunities and revenue.
  • Performs effectively within a cross-functional team that is comprised of both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensures contractual commitments are met during the term of customer agreements
  • Proficient knowledge of dormakaba’s entire solution set
  • Completes timely reporting including opportunities updates, sales forecasts, call reports, in Salesforce.com (SFDC)
  • Represents and exemplifies dormakaba’s core values and business principles
  • A small amount of travel maybe required (<5%) based on client portfolio requirements, internal team meetings, training, and planning sessions

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is preferred
  • 2-4 years of full cycle sales experience (Demoing, Pitching, Closing)
  • Experience with a track record of success in Inside Sales or Sales Development at a B2B company and/or company selling to distributors
  • Proven success in sales, hitting and exceeding your goals in a remote capacity
  • Detail-oriented, competitive, have a “can-do” attitude, and consistently take the initiative to make things better for your clients and your team
  • Experience with Salesforce, and the ability to learn our proprietary tools and technologies
  • Experience within the building materials industry is a bonus
  • Excellent command of the English language, written and verbal
