dormakaba is seeking a Manager, Master Data Management to join our team. This position is responsible for leading the Master Data team and managing activity to prepare, harmonize and migrate master data. This will require careful assessment of existing processes, fit gap exercises, and subsequent development of new methods that promote efficient and effective management and control of our master data.


**This position is a Remote role**


Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $100,000 to $125,000. Pay is based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, the Company offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). 



  • Provides technical guidance and oversight of the activities, design and implementation of master data and variant configurations modeling elements within the Americas region
  • Facilitates and/or leads in business sessions involving master data
  • Formulates effective master data strategies consistent with the business and competitive strategy of the organization and/or functional area. Master Data harmonization should be developed in such a way to optimize benefits for customers, suppliers and internal operations
  • Ensures that effective controls are developed and maintained to ensure the integrity of the master data and processes. Takes corrective action, as appropriate. Monitors, evaluates and focuses on results and measuring attainment of outcomes
  • Supports Group or Segment IT initiatives, such as ERP or other system implementations. Acts as the Master Data Leader between IT and the functional areas of support
  • Conducts meetings and performs analysis to define/create master data needs for projects
  • Coordinates and communicates with VP of Business Transformation and other peer functional leads to ensure effective integrations of master data processes and/or to advise when timelines are in jeopardy with proposed solutions to mitigate impact
  • Contributes and manages resources within the defined scope of master data activity to effectively accomplish tasks aligned to project timelines
  • Assists in communication efforts on change management issues and reinforce as necessary
  • Leads and manages all aspects of the Master Data team’s talent including but not limited talent acquisition, talent management, coaching and counseling, and training and development to achieve optimal performance



  • Bachelor’s Degree required, major in Industrial Management, Data Analytics, Business Management or similar preferred
  • +5 years relevant experience in a product manufacturing business
  • +5 years hands on experience developing master data processes and methods for best-in-class master data management with enterprise ERP applications (SAP Preferred)
  • +2 years management of supervisory experience preferred
  • Solid understanding of ERP systems/processes required
  • Experience with at least one full cycle ERP integration project (SAP Preferred)
