dormakaba is seeking a Installation Business Development Manager to coordinate the completion of BEST DHW jobs from start to finish, including working with Sales to provide accurate quotes, planning and deploying the resources needed to complete the order while ensuring associated administrative tasks are complete. This position is responsible for leading and developing a team of Service Technicians specializing in the installation of door hardware. We are seeking an individual who will share their experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm while promoting dormakaba products, expanding our market share and brand recognition.




  • Drives new installation business, service opportunities, and service contracts through utilization of available resources and personal knowledge/relationships
  • Develops BEST installation opportunities by marketing company product lines and offering value-added services to prospective end users
  • Maintains relationships with established accounts by coordinating with Door Hardware (DHW), Employee Access Controls (EAC), and Electronic Access & Data (EAD) clusters
  • Follows through with the procurement of major contracts through maintaining communication with decision makers, gathering order details and assisting with installation/service quotes
  • Gains understanding of new and current client needs by following a consultative selling approach. Uncover additional opportunities through trust built by exceptional customer experience
  • Maintains close communication and coordination with the factory, BEST Installation Managers, and BEST Technicians to ensure we are meeting end user needs
  • Maintains excellent knowledge of products and services available through communication with product managers, marketing materials, technician shadowing, etc
  • Ensures completeness of all Account and Opportunity records and track all work in Salesforce.com




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, or similar field
  • Must be able to operate a vehicle, travel by plane and willing to travel 50%+ of the time
  • Knowledge of door hardware, electronic access controls, and electronic access & data preferred
  • Salesforce.com experience preferred
