POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Project Coordinator to be a vital part of our business and future growth on our team in Las Vegas, NV. This position is responsible for ensuring the coordination of all projects through planning and organization.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Maintains ownership of project success from start to end, and ensures satisfactory closure for all projects assigned
  • Assists the local sales representative with overall site survey, project schedule, planning, and coordination.
  • Develops and maintains excellent relationships with customers and trade partners, through as-required face-to-face customer meetings, answering inquires, monitoring and reporting progress
  • Manages contract progress reporting and identifying potential risks.
  • Adheres to Project Coordination process, and ensures proper documentation of project docs, issue codes, associated error cost on MS Axapta, other
  • Coordinates delivery with factory and installation with field crews.
  • Keeps the client informed on shipping date, installation date and if any issues may arise
  • Sends credit applications to open new accounts
  • Administers the customer and installer’s invoice and its reconciliation and collection
  • Follows up with the customer when project installation is completed, proceeds with a satisfaction survey
  • Manages any problems or situations that may arise with the customer during the coordination of the projects. Escalate to correct person / group when necessary
  • Refers any collection problems (over 30 days) to the Credit Department
  • Performs all other tasks as assigned by their supervisor.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • College degree in Business Administration, or experience in a related field (eg. Interior Architecture Engineering)
  • 4 years of experience in customer service including 2 years in project management / coordination (new construction or building requirements knowledge and understanding)
  • Must be very organized, able to prioritize tasks, and possess developed time management skills
  • USA market experience required
  • Previous leadership / management experience will be considered as an asset
  • Available for traveling, occasionally
  • Experience in collection is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multitask
  • Customer-oriented attitude
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Process and result oriented, flexible and open to change
  • Team player and positive change agent
  • Computer knowledge, MS Office and Outlook, Microsoft Dynamics an asset.
