President, Kaba Mas

We are seeking a President to join the Kaba Mas team!

 

Kaba Mas is a leader in the development of mechanical and electronic locking devices and systems for the U.S. Government safe, vault, door, and container applications.  We are an affiliate of dormakaba, located in central Kentucky.  Kaba Mas LLC is seeking a dynamic, growth-oriented business leader to join our organization as President.  Under policy direction of the Kaba Mas LLC Board of Directors, this role is responsible for driving growth, innovation and performance through thoughtful and forward-thinking leadership.

 

Primary duties:

 

  • Directs and participates in the development and implementation of company goals, objectives, and short- and long-range strategic plans.
  • Oversees the creation, implementation and management of organizational policies and operational procedures in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Collaborates with finance on annual budgets including capital expenditures and investment projects.
  • Fully understands and closely monitors financial and operational results to ensure appropriate measures are being taken to maximize results and opportunities. Develops and implements corrective actions when needed.
  • Establishes and maintains close relationship with the U.S. Government to ensure compliance with Government security requirements
  • Serves as Chairman of the Kaba Mas LLC Board of Directors
  • Serves as Assistant Facility Security Officer to ensure continuity of and compliance with Government security requirements
  • Leads the product development process end to end including coordination with dormakaba affiliates.
  • Manages the product lifecycle for Government Products.
  • Drives domestic and international market development initiatives.
  • Develops, coordinates and conducts products training programs for internal and external customers.
  • Performs immediate supervision and development of Kaba Mas employees ensuring that core functions remain on task.

Requirements: 

  • Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Government Top-Secret personnel security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business management, accounting, finance, marketing or closely related field.
  • 5 + years in a senior management or executive level role with operational and financial responsibility
  • Strong business acumen
  • Proven track record of driving organizational success
