Position Overview
Builds complete AI solutions without direction, for one function or across functions, from prototype to measured benefit.
What you will do
- Own Solutions | Deliver solutions end to end, choosing the approach within approved blueprints.
- Prototype | Deliver a working prototype in five days, or say why it cannot work
- Prove Benefit | Agree the baseline with the owner; report benefit every two weeks after go-live.
- Onboard Business-Built Apps | Review apps built by business teams and move them onto governed hosting run by the Platform team.
- Enable Business Teams | Coach business staff and AI Solution Engineers; turn repeated work into reusable components.
- Operate | Own production support of own solutions, and runbooks, with on-call duty as set out in the applicable on-call or works agreement.
- Work with Other Teams | On request, pair with engineers in functions and Group IT on AI work; agree handoffs with DevOps, CloudOps and AIOps.
What we require
- Typically 5+ years, or equivalent demonstrated capability, shipping production software directly with business users. Ships end to end; hands-on AI or automation delivery
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering or a business-technical discipline, or an equivalent demonstrable delivery track record.
- Business and technical hybrid profiles are preferred over deep specialists.
- Domain knowledge of a dormakaba business process is an advantage.
