Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Human Resources, Canada, the talent acquisition partner must have a solid experience in talent acquisition. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies that are compatible with our organization’s culture and values. The talent acquisition specialist will manage the complete recruitment cycle for all white and blue collar positions in our different departments like finance, operations, customer service and support, product management, procurement, etc.





  • Act as a talent acquisition expert and resource person and keep up to date with new trends and best practices in this area
  • Identify and implement innovative and proactive strategies using social networks, various specialized job sites and other platforms to identify and attract passive candidates and meet current and future needs (building a pool of candidates for specific positions)
  • Post open positions using the best strategies for attracting candidates
  • Analyze internal and external candidates and handle all the recruitment stages (search, resume screening, phone and/or in-person interviews, offers, follow-ups, etc.)
  • When required, negotiate agreements with the relevant agencies
  • Represent the Company at recruitment and networking events (schools, job fairs, etc.)
  • Advise the hiring managers throughout all the recruitment stages
  • Do regular follow-ups with internal clients and ensure their satisfaction
  • Implement, adapt and optimize the recruitment and selection tools and processes as well as the corporate programs, if possible
  • Increase the visibility of dormakaba by participating in the development of a position of employer of choice on the labor market.





  • University degree in Human Resource Management
  • Between three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in talent acquisition
  • Ability to conduct interviews with candidates of all levels (junior to senior) with skill and ease
  • Interest and experience in developing and implementing talent attraction strategies
  • Excellent networking skills and proficiency in the use of social media for recruitment strategies
  • Strong knowledge of various Canadian recruitment sites
  • Recognized follow-up skills, results and action-oriented approach
  • Strong time and priority management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence others
  • Professionalism, close attention to customer service and candidate experience
  • Rigorous and accountable
  • Dynamic, enthusiastic and team oriented

  • Perfectly bilingual, both orally and in writing
  • Proficient with the Office suite.
