dormakaba is seeking an Associate Product Manager for the Customer Experience & Product Management department based in Reamstown, PA to support the development and execution of the business project plans to expand and drive overall growth. This position is responsible for providing detailed industry, market and competitive analyses to drive innovation, differentiation and value within both portfolios. The incumbent will also be expected to work effectively with a team of production line managers, assuring a comprehensive and consolidated approach to the market and optimizing business results for the portfolio.



  • Coordinates with the (AVP, CE & PM) to manage the ENS & IGS product portfolio in the Americas, working in close collaboration with sales, engineering, operations, and customers to gather and prioritize product and market requirements
  • Delivers appropriate product project deliverables such as: requirements documents, business cases, product training, ramp up/down plans, sales forecasts, service strategies etc.
  • Closely monitors the ENS & IGS industries and maintain intelligence on competitors, document product benchmarks, and foresee changes in the market. Identify technical as well as design trends and derive changes in the dormakaba software & integration product offering and marketing mix as required
  • Coordinates with sales team and finance to set prices based on market data, and derive price points by channel, effectively managing Gross Profit for the portfolio
  • Coordinates with ENS/IGS Product Marketing, Brand/Marketing Communications, Training/Education and Service Operations teams to ensure we provide accurate and effective marketing material to our customers and sales teams, including but not limited to sell sheets, product training, brochures, specification summaries etc.
  • Maintains detailed understanding of industry standards and other relevant building code compliance and performance certification requirements across the region for hardware and software across the ENS and IGS portfolios
  • Coordinates regularly with the AVP, CE & PM and team to align efforts and streamline processes



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business (Marketing/Communications) or Technology preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in product management or other product focused business preferred.
  • Sound knowledge in research and data analyses
  • Excellence in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Stage Gate/New Product Development Processes
  • Outgoing personality, high energy and passion for solving the challenges at hand
  • Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming data into intelligent reports
  • Ability to network with internal customers, peers and cross-functional stakeholders through product and solution vision discussions
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Comfortable with presentations and speaking directly to end customers and internal stakeholders
