dormakaba is seeking a Master Scheduler to join our Operations team in Reamstown, PA. This position is responsible for all aspects of production scheduling to meet required customer service levels and stock policies, schedules and plans for the activities of the inside company schedules, as well as the vendor schedules to have direct influence on dollar commitment.



  • Works closely with Customer Service for the scheduling of customer orders, assigning order ship dates based on item availability and capacity of the plant
  • Develops and initiates procedures for planning and scheduling of the factory, vendors and inventory to maintain the best procedures to meet production demands as required by sales orders and stock levels. Utilizes MRP planning logic to control desired inventory commitment of the company
  • Schedules, plans, and monitors the activities of the production departments. Expedites schedules in production to meet customer’s needs
  • Places purchasing requirements to adequately support inventory levels to satisfy customer orders and maintaining stock levels on products assigned. Works closely with vendors to keep up-to-date information
  • Executes all aspects of required Non-conforming material reports dispositions
  • Implements engineering and development change notices for products and departments as assigned, implementing all supply chain(add) related aspects of the change



  • Associates degree or 5 years of equivalent years of job-related experience / Training
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs; particularly, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Good working knowledge of MRP and Planning Systems
  • Intercultural competence and intermediate English language skills
  • Knowledge of inventory management and related systems
  • Attention to detail
