POSITION OVERVIEW      

dormakaba is seeking a customer focused Technical Services/Prodcut Representative to support the company’s vision of becoming the leading provider of Premium Access Solutions in the America. This position is responsible for providing clear technical, consultative, and diagnostic application support for all product lines to our customers and sales force in a way that creates positive recognition and value. We are seeking an individual who will share their experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm while promoting dormakaba products, expanding our market share and brand recognition.

 

  PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Maintains a high level of familiarity with all product lines, enabling efficient and effective delivery of technical and application support to our internal and external customers
  • Works with the marketing team to ensure we create technical procedures and manuals with the customer in mind. Support the product managers with feedback from the field regarding product use and identification of improvement opportunities. Support the spec writers with product technical details to ensure robust specifications
  • Supports R&D and Application engineering with data from customers regarding application and performance issues. Support the product development process with knowledge and feedback of opportunities where we can make our products easier for our customers to use.
  • Works closely with customer service, inside and outside sales as the primary response layer for questions and issues from customers. Help to build the database of knowledge with our CRM tools and support investigation of warranty claims

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of three years relevant experience
  • Fully Proficient use of Microsoft Office Products
  • Strong oral and written business communication skills
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, plane and solid geometry and trigonometry  
  • Solid understanding of interface level component and systems wiring diagrams  
  • Must have spatial awareness and mechanical/electrical aptitude to effectively visualize the product based on what the caller is describing over the phone
