Key function for proper and high-quality product data and for the successful establishment, operation and continuous improvement of central Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms to serve relevant output channels and create added value for dormakaba and customers. This position is part of our Digital Marketing & E-commerce unit.  

 

A job that matters: Your Tasks 

 

  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of our global Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, ensuring that the requirements of key customer touchpoints such as e-commerce, websites, price lists and structured export of product information are effectively addressed for our customers.
  • Use your strong project management skills to define project scope, set milestones, create and track timelines, allocate resources and effectively manage the project budget in close collaboration with our internal IT team and external implementation partners. Ensure projects are completed in time and budget.
  • Be responsible, together with your team, for complete and accurate product data and its creation, enrichment and maintenance used at our key customer touchpoints.
  • Take care of our brand and media print platforms and align with the Brand Manager and local markets for the best possible use.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive change management strategy to ensure global adoption of PIM and DAM systems across the organization. Train and support team members and internal stakeholders in the adoption and effective use of these systems.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of PIM and DAM systems with other enterprise systems (e.g. e-commerce platforms, ERP systems, content management systems) to optimize data flow and accessibility.
  • Manage relationships with PIM and DAM system vendors, including contract negotiations, service level agreements, and ongoing evaluation of features and system performance. Stay up to date on system updates and enhancements.
  • Implement data analytics and reporting tools in the PIM and DAM systems to measure and analyze data and asset quality, usage, performance, and interaction. Use insights to make data-driven decisions and improvements and drive cleanup and enrichment initiatives.
  • Lead a small team of product data experts and work closely with product owners, global and local marketing departments, and the MDM team to ensure high quality and proper data maintenance for product information and assets.

 

 

An experience that matters: Your Skills

 

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Information Management and Digital Asset Management with a solid project management and deep product/master data background.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of structuring data and maintaining simple and complex product information for use at various customer touchpoints is essential.
  • Hands-On experience in implementing and running a product information platform and providing structured data for e-commerce or websites is desirable.
  • Know-How with SAP MM is a plus.
  • Diploma, Bachelor or Master degree in economics, IT, engineering, marketing or similar.
  • Additional project management OR Six Sigma certification is a plus.
