Position Overview

Best Doors, part of the global dormakaba group, is seeking a reliable and motivated Installer to join our Hervey Bay branch on a permanent basis. This hands-on role is responsible for installing, servicing and repairing a wide range of door and access solutions while delivering exceptional customer service. Full in-house training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career with an industry leader.

What you will do

• Install and repair industrial doors, roller doors, sectional doors and access systems
• Work with automatic door openers, gate openers and specialised products
• Safely operate hand and power tools on customer sites
• Deliver quality workmanship and excellent customer service
• Work collaboratively with the branch team to meet customer requirements
• Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety and compliance

What we require

• Current C Class Driver's Licence
• Ability to confidently use a variety of power tools
• Physical capability to undertake manual installation work
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual and committed work ethic
• Willingness to work overtime during busy periods when required

What we prefer

• Previous experience in construction, maintenance, installation or a trade-related environment
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
• Customer-focused approach with a positive attitude
