Service Technician

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Service team in Darwin, NT Australia. This position will be responsible for the install and service of a variety of doors and related materials, equipment, and control devices.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Carry out corrective service and preventative maintenance on a range of equipment in a professional and customer-oriented manner
• Install dormakaba equipment in commercial buildings
• Service equipment to the customers’ ongoing satisfaction and set minimum performance standards
• Project a customer service image through competent service procedures, professional personal presentation, and good communication with all customers
• Maintain accurate service data through diligent and timely use of service documentation and technical data

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• Current Australian Driver’s License 
• Mechanical Knowledge 

WHAT WE PREFER

• Good communication and interpersonal skills 
• Basic electrical knowledge and experience 
• Background in trades
