The Assembler I is a full-time, entry-level role in Indianapolis, IN, which reports directly to the Production Supervisor and works closely with the Team Lead and other Assemblers. The Assembler I is responsible for performing assembly operations according to assembly/department requirements.


This position is available on First Shift (6AM – 2:30PM) with a base pay of $16/hr.  Mandatory overtime as needed.


$2,000 Sign-on Bonus (details provided during interview)



  • Perform a variety of basic production and assembly processes by following assembly work instructions
  • Operate various production assembly machines and may use hand tools to assemble products
  • Visually inspect parts to quality standards as described in the quality system
  • Communicate any problems which arise to the supervisor/lead person
  • Pack finished product as set forth by work instruction, including instructional sheets and any necessary hardware
  • Cross-train and rotate on a frequent basis



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math skills
  • Professional communication skills
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
  • Ability to use hands, wrists, and fingers for seizing, holding, grasping, turning, etc. as well as for fine manipulation



  • Basic computer skills
  • Previous experience in an assembly/production environment
  • Lean skills
