Frontend Developer

POSITION OVERVIEW
dormakaba is looking for a Frontend Developer to be an integral member of our team. This role will be part of a team responsible for developing solutions along the whole value chain in access control, most importantly when it comes to managing cloud-based appliances and software.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Create compelling visual UIs
- Reduce the cognitive complexity of solutions
- Convert designs into actionable and efficient SPAs
- Act as a front-end design reference for the rest of the team
- Collaborate in varied user stories, not always related to front-end coding
- Code and perform the layout of the visual UI
WHAT WE REQUIRE
- 3+ yrs experience developing/maintaining front-end projects, coding and performing layouts of the visual UI showing excellent UX design:
- SPA with React
- Web layout with HTML5, CSS3
- JS ES2015+, node.JS, Typescript
- git (familiarity)
- Consuming REST APIs
- Pagination
- Work experience in agile / SCRUM teams
- Experience with designing independently
- Testing and linting experience (Jest, ESLint + Prettier, or similar frameworks)
- University degree or equivalent from a Technical College or relevant experience (Certificate of Higher Education in CS-related studies with extended working experience is also acceptable)
- Fluency in English
WHAT WE PREFER
- Knowledge of transforming Figma into SPA
- ITCSS / BEMIT, SASS
- Understanding of how your work ends in production through CI/CD
