Acquisition Integration Lead

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking an Acquisition Integration Manager to champion integration activity for our recently acquired business in Access Control where software development is a key differentiator. This role will continue the successful integration (talent, culture, systems, product, marketing – branding and communication, engineering, financials, etc.) into the dormakaba family ensuring synergy and performance optimization.

 

  PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Creates, manages, and executes detailed project plan for acquisition integration with clear identification of resources, dependencies, risks, risk mitigation and milestones
  • Drives integration project activities with well-defined goals, operating mechanisms, and provides regular updates to stakeholders ensuring the integration is smooth, accurate and time appropriate
  • Establishes and develops cross functional business integration team(s) to ensure expert and appropriate representation for all facets of the business resulting in a holistic, comprehensive, well executed integration of acquired companies
  • Builds and evolves an integration toolkit and framework

  • Stays current on M & A trends and best practices with a continuous learner mentality
  • Previous experience working in a global European organization
  • Highly motivated individual with proven success meeting commitments in a deadline-driven environment with multiple competing priorities

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Requires a BA/BS degree
  • 2 – 4 years of business and culture integration experience in a matrixed organization supporting multiple functions, with a strong background in integration Finance and Accounting activities (familiarity with Purchase Accounting, Consolidation and Valuation concepts)
  • Proven success in program management of large-scale, complex projects, including but not limited to M&A, organizational change, business process redesign, and systems implementations
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills and excellent spreadsheet and presentation skills
  • Experience with business systems and business process management. Ability to recognize needed change and understanding of change complexity
  • Leadership in different functional areas, and appreciation for multi-functional coordination
  • Customer facing experience
  • Microsoft Office Advanced Proficiency (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Ability to travel or locate in Chino, CA
