Field Service Technician

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Field Service Technician based in Austin, TX. The Field Service Technician is responsible for installing door hardware to support access control systems, keeping our most important buildings safe and secure.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $19.00 - $25.00 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). $3,000 Sign-on Bonus (details provided during interview)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Install dormakaba hardware products in commercial buildings 
• Maintain accurate documentation of inventory, time and expenses 
• Project a strong customer service image through professional presentation and communication with the Field Manager 

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• Valid current driver’s license 
• Basic computers skills 
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. 

WHAT WE PREFER

• Work and communicate verbally in a construction environment and via telephone 
• Work with low voltage and use electronic testing equipment
