POSITION OVERVIEW
dormakaba is seeking a Service Technician based in Austin, TX. The Service Technician is responsible for installing door hardware and access control systems keeping our most important buildings safe and secure. The ideal person for this role will have a passion for delighting customers beyond basic expectations, to create strong customer relationships.
HOURLY HIRING RANGE: $20/hr. - $28/hr. plus mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Install dormakaba hardware & access control systems in commercial buildings
- Project a strong customer service image through professional presentation and communication with all customers
- Communicate with Sales and Service management about customer concerns and sales opportunities
WHAT WE REQUIRE
- Willingness to travel
- Valid current driver’s license
- Mechanical or electrical knowledge
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.)
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.

- Electrical/low voltage certification and/or construction background
