A JOB THAT MATTERS: YOUR TASKS

The Pre-Sales, Project & Program management specialist in the Airport Business Vertical is responsible for supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise and solution consulting tailored to the unique needs of airport operations and management. This role involves understanding the specific requirements of airport clients, preparing and delivering product demonstrations, and assisting in the development of proposals that effectively communicate how our solutions can enhance airport efficiency, security, and passenger experience.

Solution Consulting:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand the specific needs and challenges of airport clients.
  • Analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions from the company's airport-focused product portfolio.
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations showcasing the value of our solutions in the airport context.

Technical Support:

  • Assist the sales team in responding to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFIs (Request for Information) specific to the airport industry.
  • Provide detailed product specifications and technical responses that address the unique operational aspects of airports.
  • Address technical questions and concerns raised by airport clients.
  • Make project documents in coordination with MSI/End customer, especially in green field airport projects.

Product Demonstrations:

  • Develop and customize product demos tailored to the needs of airport operations, security, and passenger services.
  • Conduct live and virtual product demonstrations to highlight how our solutions improve airport processes and enhance the passenger journey.
  • Gather feedback during demonstrations to identify potential product improvements and adapt demonstrations accordingly.

Proposal Development:

  • Work with the sales and marketing teams to create comprehensive proposals and presentations for airport clients.
  • Ensure that all technical aspects of proposals are accurate and effectively communicate the benefits of our solutions for airport operations.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to ensure proposals are feasible and align with product capabilities.

Customer Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within airport authorities and management companies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to airport clients, providing insights and recommendations to help them achieve their operational and business objectives.
  • Follow up with customers post-demo to address any additional questions and provide further information as needed.

Market Research:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, competitor products, and emerging technologies in the airport sector.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer interactions and market insights specific to airport operations.
  • Identify opportunities for new product features or enhancements based on the unique needs and demands of the airport industry.

Project Management for Green Field projects:

  • Complete Project Management (on-site/off-site) for green field airports project.
  • Co-ordination with internal & external clients.
  • Shall be responsible for making the project MSI defined project documentation
  • To be responsible till for UAT/SAT/ORAT and successful handover to the client
  • To coordinate for various interfaces, integration and commissioning activities.

AN EXPERIENCE THAT MATTERS: YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a pre-sales, technical sales, or related role within the aviation or airport industry (MUST).
  • Strong technical acumen and the ability to quickly understand complex products and solutions relevant to airport operations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Ability to translate technical information into business value propositions tailored to the airport context.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Willingness to travel as needed to meet with airport clients and support sales activities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working directly with airport operations, security, or passenger services.
  • Familiarity with specific technologies or platforms used in airport management (e.g., airport management systems, security solutions, passenger information systems).
  • Certification in sales or technical domains relevant to the airport industry (e.g., IATA, AAAE).
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards in the aviation sector.
