As part of our investment in people and our continued ambitions of growth, dormakaba UK now have a fantastic new sales opportunity for a Sales Professional to join our UK Access Control sales team.
A JOB THAT MATTERS: YOUR TASKS
Our Access Control sales team promote our products to the security and access control industry. They deal with businesses that specify and install our products in their customers projects. Our access control sales team are solution sales professionals, consulting with the client company to help them deliver bespoke solutions which meet their customers’ requirements.
Based from home, your main responsibility will be the commercial development of a geographical area, contacting, engaging with and winning clients for dormakaba, ensuring growth of our Access control business. You will proactively manage your own diary and workload, planning and tracking different opportunities, arranging meetings and travelling across the territory to consult with clients.
But we are not looking for individuals that “fly solo”
Our most successful salespeople collaborate extensively with other team members throughout dormakaba to ensure that we maximise the opportunities available to us as a business.

EXPIERENCE THAT MATTERS: YOUR SKILLS
To be considered for this role we would expect you to demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a role selling technical solutions in a consultative manner, i.e. looking at bespoke solutions relating to client requirements.
- A proven track record in successful sales growth and client retention
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Proven ability to work both independently and remotely without close supervision
- Geographically located to cover the North of the UK and Scotland (i.e. from Birmingham northwards)
