POSITION OVERVIEW
dormakaba is seeking a Regional Project Manager to join our team in Chicago. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of a new installation or site modernization project after a contract is signed. This position is responsible for delivering all assigned installation projects on time and within the contract budget.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $79,800 - $111,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)

PRIMARY DUTIES
- Manages multiple (both large and small) installation projects while coordinating work through appropriate vendors, sub-contractors and branch staff
- Establishes project plans by determining time frame, funding and staffing, and approving project schedules
- Attends (physically or virtually) pre-construction and post-construction jobsite meetings
- Ensures that safety procedures are followed at all times
- Maintains a project status board in order to forecast labor requirements
- Oversees and coordinates subcontractors in support of customers and project requirements
- Provides project management and coordination assistance for national accounts, as required
- Provides product and warranty package to end-user upon completion or commissioning
- Works with appropriate personnel to provide information to produce accurate and timely invoices
- Provides strategic, expert advice and consultation on the design and implementation of effective administrative and project processes
- Holds team members accountable for assigned deliverables at the specified milestones
- Prepares project status and backlog reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
- Completes job closeout in Southware including warranty docs, lien wavers, OCIP/CCIP, Owner Training, Equipment (warranty clock and ID#), End User Data, Billing
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor´s degree in technical field, construction management or business preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of project management experience preferred
- 5-7 years’ work experience in project management without education
- PMP certificate preferred

- Knowledge of electronics required, specifically in access control, entrance systems, or Integration preferred

- Skills or experience with personal computers, including electronic E-mail, personal scheduling, word processing and electronic spreadsheet skills (MS Office), MS Project
- Working knowledge of CRM systems
- A valid state driver’s license, without restrictions, is required for this position
- Must be able to travel up to 30%
