Driver

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Driver to join our Warehouse team in Chino, CA. The Driver is responsible for maintaining the warehouse and keeping the facility clean and organized. The Driver will operate a flatbed truck to pick up and make deliveries. They will assist in preparing and coordinating outgoing shipments; receive incoming shipments, collaborate and communicate with team members, customer service, service providers, the quality department and others involved in the shipment of products.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: The pay for this role will range from $19/hr. to $20/hr. (Pay rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Mandatory overtime as needed.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Accurately identify and gather products as required for shipping
• Daily building walkthrough (inside and out) for safety awareness and general warehouse organization
• Stock and maintain tool crib and crate/packaging material inventory
• Perform weekly scheduled shop material inventories (RMO)
• Report shortages and needs to Warehouse Manager
• Support maintenance personnel in general building maintenance and upkeep as requested

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Possess a valid CA driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR)
• Previous warehouse experience
• Obtain certification to operate powered forklift equipment (stand-up and sit-down)
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
