Operations Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking an Operations Manager based in our Chino, CA Alvarado facility. The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth processing of customers’ orders by providing high-quality products within the confirmed lead times, while maintaining safe, efficient and profitable operations.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $125,000 - $140,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Maintain operational excellence, working hand-in-hand with Production Control, Quality Assurance, Engineering and Purchasing to develop and maintain a high-quality and efficient manufacturing environment that supports 100% customer satisfaction
• Ensure employees are appropriately trained and supervised on all aspects of work they perform and have proper work instructions, tools and equipment to reach production goals
• Manage production and warehouse staff, and maintain equipment and inventory to ensure optimal utilization and cost-effectiveness
• Hire, train and develop operational teams utilizing performance planning, cross-training matrix, efficiency reporting and other tools in the management of personnel
• Provide LEAN leadership across the production organization, cultivating safe, innovative and collaborative culture
• Manage plant operations in adherence with Local, State and Federal environmental and safety laws and provide EHS leadership and guidance in accordance with the company safety effort

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• 5+ years’ experience working in leadership roles in a manufacturing environment
• Associate's degree or higher
