Position Overview

dormakaba now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced logistics or warehouse person based in Dublin! 

Reporting to our MD in Ireland, and based from our brand new offices in the Citywest Business Campus, we are looking for someone to set up and run our small warehouse / stock facility.

You will be dealing with all aspects of the logistics operation, from Goods in to dispatch and everything in between. We need someone who is accountable and responsible, who can manage themselves and make changes and improvements as required.

This position is a great opportunity for an experienced Warehouse person, either internal or external, to join dormakaba and make our company the benchmark for automatic door solutions

What you will do

• Be responsible for all aspects of our new warehouse facility, managing the day-to-day requirements and any issues that might come up.
• Take responsibility for “put away”, pick, dispatch, stock checks, cycle counts and other elements of running the warehouse.
• Work closely with internal and external (courier, client etc.) stakeholders to ensure that the correct products are dispatched on time and as per the order requirements   

What we require

• Previous, in depth experience in the operation of all departments of a warehouse, ideally with some sort of team-leading or supervisory experience.
• Ability to drive a counterbalance forklift truck and handle weights of up to 25kg as and when required.
• Self-motivated with the ability to proritise tasks and work to deadline.

What we prefer

• Experience in the use of SAP or other MRP or ERP would be a distinct advantage
