• Monitoring and ensuring test quality: Responsibility for performing accurate, reliable tests according to established standards to ensure correct and reproducible results.
• Compliance with standards and regulations: Ensuring that all tests comply with the relevant technical standards, legal regulations and industry-specific standards, including the adaptation of test methods in the event of changes to standards.
• Innovation and development: Identifying and implementing new testing methods and technologies to continuously improve testing procedures and maintain competitiveness.
• Ensuring product safety and integrity: Ensuring that tested products meet all safety requirements and comply with technical specifications to minimize potential risks to users.
• Efficient operational management: planning and optimizing the use of resources such as personnel, equipment and schedules to ensure efficient test center operations and cost control.
• Creation and communication of test reports: Responsibility for producing accurate and understandable test reports and communicating results transparently to customers and other stakeholders.
• Standardization- and working-groups: Helping to shape and influence technical standards and regulations in the interests of dormakaba through regular participation in relevant standardization committees and working groups (interest groups)
• Staff management and development: Managing the test center team, including training and development of staff to ensure a high level of competence and motivation.

An experience that matters: your skills

• Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively
• Experience in strategic risk management and in developing solutions for complex challenges
• Extensive experience in intercultural collaboration
• Fluent in both written and spoken German and English
• Willingness to travel
