A job that matters: your tasks

  • Act as a global leader in deploying the investment processes for Operations in a strong manufacturing network
  • CAPEX Management: Plan and monitor budgets for equipment and technology projects to support manufacturing improvements. Work with the Operations team to determine the best investments. Standardize the CAPEX process. Harmonize specifications and define selected vendors together with global procurement)
  • Core Technology Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of core technologies and products to create and improve manufacturing processes
  • New Technology Management: Identify and evaluate new technologies to stay ahead in production and maintain our competitive edge
  • Design for Assembly & Automation: Work on designs that make assembly and automation easier, more efficient, and cost-effective
  • Center of Excellence (CoE) for Manufacturing & Automation: Act as a key driver in establishing and maintaining a CoE structure for advanced manufacturing and automation strategies
  • Ensure manufacturability and optimal use of production technology across projects in order to produce cost-effectively and sustainably
  • Manage, coach and empower your team to develop their skills, identify priorities, complete tasks and project objectives in timely manner and  focus on relevant improvements
  • Responsible for building strong relationships with all stakeholders, (e.g. plant managers, technology experts, project managers and project teams)

 

An experience that matters: your skills

  • Degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable background
  • Over 5 Years of experience in international program management and leading a line organization
  • Strong understanding in production and processes management
  • String expertise for core technologies in production 
  • Strong communication skills and international experience
  • Networking together with the stakeholders and project managers on the individual project
  • Self-organized, open-minded and proactive
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken), German language is a plus
