We have an exciting opportunity in our Hallam office for a results-driven and relationship-focused professional to join our VIC Sales team. As a key member of our successful commercial team, you will take the lead in managing and developing relationships across the fabricator and distributor market segment.
Success in this role will be achieved by developing integral relationships with our key stakeholders and influencers, delivering tailored unique solutions to support their businesses. You’ll be representing our market-leading automatic entrance, door control, security, and glass fittings solutions, contributing to some of Victorias most iconic buildings & landmarks.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and grow strong relationships with fabricators and distributors, offering proactive support across their pipeline of projects.
- Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions from our suite of access and architectural offerings.
- Build deep engagement with key stakeholders and influencers to drive long-term partnerships and sales opportunities.
- Take accountability for the sales performance of assigned accounts, meeting targets for revenue, profit, and strategic growth.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams (Product Management, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Operations) to align customer and product requirements.
- Maintain accurate CRM records to support effective customer lifecycle management and project execution.
YOUR SKILLS
We are seeking an authentic communicator with a strong ability to nurture relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions. Success in this role depends on a consultative sales approach and a strong understanding of the access and construction industries.
- Proven experience in consultative, solutions-based B2B sales, ideally within the construction or access solutions industry
- Strong ability to build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with customers, distributors, and fabricators
- Confident in presenting to and negotiating with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Skilled in managing sales pipelines and using CRM systems to track projects and opportunities
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align customer needs with business goals and deliver tailored solutions
