THIS OPENS THE DOOR TO YOUR FUTURE: OUR OPPORTUNITY

 

You will collaborate closely with our sales and operations planning teams to ensure that our initiatives and solutions are customer-centric and aligned with stakeholder demands and requirements. Working from our Head Office in Hallam, you will have ownership of the demand forecast which supports the wider Supply Chain function, enabling us to meet market demands. 

 

Key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Review and refine forecast models and Safety Stock levels, taking into account input from key stakeholders.
  • Review trends in historical sales, forecast accuracy / forecast bias with a goal of progressive Continuous Improvement.
  • Work closely with Sales and Product Managers and act as a key support to ensure Product Life Cycle and Product Status is maintained for all SKU’s.
  • Co-ordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model as required.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Product Management on new product launches, deletions, range review, etc. to ensure success into market and to minimize write-off exposure and clearance.

 

YOUR SKILLS

 

You will be a result focused individual, commercially rounded and comfortable owning the planning detail. You will be confident when dealing with challenging situations and encouraging of others’ ideas. With over 6000SKU’s to manage, this role will suit a detail orientated person with strong forecasting/demand planning abilities.

 

Key skills and experiences that will see you succeed in the role are:

 

  • 2+-plus years of demand and/or supply planning experience.
  • Very good skills in building analytical tools (MS Excel essential, PowerBI advantageous). 
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to interrogate large diverse data sets and draw valid summary conclusions for presentation to commercial stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated skills in positive engagement with Commercial, Supply and Finance stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and clear problem-solving capabilities.
  • Process, results and metrics oriented, with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Experience in SAP would be advantageous.
